Our Bachelor & Bachelorette Party Dance Classes are the perfect pre-party experience— part mini-lesson, part comedic experience, and all fun. Each session (60 or 90 minutes) is BYOB and led by one of our fabulous instructors who’ll guide your crew through easy, beginner-friendly choreography that matches your chosen theme:

  • Bridgerton
  • Disco Fever
  • Dirty Dancing Havana Nights
  • Magic Mike
  • Thriller
  • Got an idea? We’ll customize something for you!

Expect laughs, inside jokes, and plenty of video-worthy moments you’ll want to relive later. Whether you’re the bride, the best man, or the friend who swore they “don’t dance,” we’ll make sure everyone leaves grinning, a few calories lighter, and ready to take on the night.

How soon before the wedding should we start lessons?

We always start with a consultation, which can be done at any time and is just for information and planning purposes. But as far as when to start lessons:

The more time the better. Most couples begin learning to dance 3 to 6 months before their ceremony. This gives us plenty of time to learn the basics, get them looking natural and authentic, and find some moves that cater to each couples individual vision, needs, and desires. It also helps to begin the learning process far away from the stress and chaos of the final days and weeks leading up to the big day. That being said, we can still create some thing with much less time. As little as a week or two week is all that’s needed to give you and your fiancé a couple moves and pointers to take away the awkwardness and look natural on the floor.

The right number of lessons can vary greatly based on each couples vision, ability level, budget, and timeframe. The number can range anywhere from two or three to 20 or more lessons for a full, dancing with the stars style routine. Most couples fall somewhere in the middle. Your consultation is where you’ll get all the information necessary to make an informed decision on what’s the right number of lessons.

Absolutely! Our process starts completely from scratch, so those who have “no rhythm” or “two left feet” will find out approach surprisingly accessible.

Not at all! Having your song chosen ahead of time is not required for us to begin our process. If you do have your perfect song chosen, perfect! If not, no worries. During our consultation, we can discuss details that may help you decide. Just keep in mind that we can work with any song regardless of genre, rhythm, length, or structure.
Just wear something comfortable. No need to don formal attire or dress in activewear. If your wedding date is coming soon, it does help to wear the shoes you’ll be wearing for your big day, or something similar.

That depends! We always add just a little bit of structure to the dance so that it’s manageable among the pressures of the wedding day. For some, that means just learning a move or two and maintaining the freedom to lead or follow. For some, that means choreographing each move to the perfect part of the song so that everything hits just the way we want. For many, we fall somewhere in the middle.

Absolutely. Getting a perfect sounding version of the music is all part of being and feeling prepared for your first dance. There’s a sweet spot in length between 1:30 and 2:30 and we don’t want any surprises or uncertainty. We take care of seamlessly editing any music to make sure it sounds perfect and keeps the vibe and structure that we want. We then help you work with your band or DJ to make sure that they are well informed in order to pull everything together with as little effort from you as possible.
Not a problem. Our process builds comfortability dancing together as a couple, in sync, regardless of how quickly each person may individually learn. It’s also very possible to come up with moves that may highlight the strengths of one partner, or maintain a level of ease for another partner.
Absolutely!
The first step is making sure that you’re well-prepared. We know exactly what it text to teach your body to accomplish something without having to involve too much of the brain. Therefore, we put a ton of repetition into the process and keep the any moves manageable such that muscle memory kicks in. We also practice the moves in clothes that are similar to what you’ll be wearing, and practice imagining ourselves in the venue, designating the location of everything present.
Absolutely! Once you begin the process and realize what may be possible or what may fit your vision, switching things up is absolutely possible. Many moves can work to lots of different songs.
Group classes are great too add to your repertoire, but private lessons, even just a couple, can ensure that things are organized and structured such that panic doesn’t unexpectedly set in right before you step out on the floor.
Yes! We would love to see what moves have inspired you or piqued your interest. This helps us tailor our approach to fit your vision. But of course, it’s not required.
Nope! We know most of our couples have busy lives between work and planning a wedding. Everything that needs to be done to feel prepared and confident will be done during your lessons. That said, pulling out the moves spontaneously, at home, never hurts.
Yes we can. The difference between making something feel natural and not cheesy usually just comes down to finding the right moves that make us look relaxed and comfortable instead of stiff and labored. Our process also incorporates feedback from the couple in order to continue to evolve our approach and create moves that feel authentic and not cheesy. Our goal is that at the end of the process, each couple feels 100% comfortable and confident with whatever moves they plan to put out on the dance floor.
