Meet Derek Walker
Hi, I'm Derek!
I’m a professional dancer who has been teaching Ballroom and Latin dancing for the last 14 years up and down the East Coast of the USA.
I’ve competed with partners and students of all ages and backgrounds all across the country and overseas as I found my passion in Ballroom and Latin and other forms of dance. It has been my pleasure to bring the joy of dancing to thousands of singles and couples alike.
For me, dancing is a physical outlet, a creative outlet, a way to connect with other people, and a way to stay sane in this crazy world. It’s my belief that ANYONE can dance as I have helped first timers, countless wedding couples, and persons with disabilities take their first dance steps, finally feel confident on a dance floor, and reach new heights with their dancing.
Whether you're a competitive dancer with years of experience under your belt, or you have two left feet, it’s my job to help you achieve the joy of partner dancing.
